Can I reuse a tea bloommore than once?
You can gently add hot water to thetea bloom over and over to make many ounces of tea. Some peoplekeep a pot on their desk and keep adding hot water to enjoy the teafor many hours. We do not recommend saving the tea bloom to reusethe next day.
Thetea buds are picked young in early spring before they open. Theyhave white downy hairs along their backs which gives the tea itsname. The leaves are then sorted, only the finest whole leavesmaking the grade. They are now ready for tying.The flowers are alsopicked young and fresh so the flavours are delicate and the shapessmall and perfectly formed. The leaves and flowers are then tiedtogether by tea artists that pride themselves on their exceptionalskill.Some varieties are gently infused with jasmine flowers formany hours to enhance the jasmine aroma of the tea. The tea budsare then very slowly dried and packed until they are awoken oncemore in your pot.
